Coaching

The Vulnerabold® Coaching program goes beyond traditional coaching. Together, we'll explore at multiple depths of how humans outgrow their past and unfold into their future.

 

"How" we'll do it accounts for the different depths of exploration. We'll let the experience guide us and hold the 'how' with flexibility. One thing's for sure: we'll spend as much time (or more!) 'inside' as we do 'outside.' Why? That's where transformation unfolds from.     

Our quality of connection is

the key differentiator.

While most coaching focuses on compliance and accountability, I take a human-first approach.

I honor all parts of you by asking myself the question, "what's making their discomfort/symptom necessary?" This compassionate curiosity helps us access the motivations, avoidances, and relationships that necessitate the impediments that seem to be thwarting progress. This neuroscience-backed direction helps people grow in ways that benefit both them and the organization, by creating the conditions, both external and internal, for learning and growth to happen.

Unlocking better ‘being’ and ‘doing.’

Coaching, in essence, is about creating mental and emotional space to engage life more effectively. Our actions (or inactions) both help and hinder our sense of being. Together, we’ll find the balance of being and doing that works best for you.

Recognition of ‘above' or 'below' the line.

We’re always in a relationship with ourselves, others, and the world around us from either ‘above’ or ‘below’ the line. Raising our consciousness towards this shifts us from reactive to responsive, unconscious to conscious in how we're experiencing life.

Threat-based and thrive-based communication.

Words, tone, body language, and energy all matter. Humans are either in a state of threat or thrive, and how we communicate—with others and ourselves—expresses the  state we’re in. I teach leaders to communicate in ways that builds bridges, not barriers.

Eliciting and activating on values.

Many people live in conflict with their values. I start by helping clients identify what they value in their careers and life, and assess if their role aligns with those values. This clarity often sparks a light bulb moment, helping them apply their values more effectively in their work.

Increasing one’s capacity in relation to their demands.

Without realizing it, we often limit ourselves. When we feel our role’s demands exceed our ability to handle them, we recoil. The good news? We can change how we experience these demands and our capacity to manage them.

Awareness, acceptance, and adaptation of perception.

Each of us sees the world uniquely. We filter, change, and simplify information to create a "reality" that fits our worldview. While this helps us survive, it can cause conflict in environments requiring communication and cooperation.

Attending to and processing stuck emotion.

All emotions are natural and vital to being human. They reflect our thoughts and conditioning and how we relate to them. Learning to experience emotions with the right intensity—spaciously—is a skill that benefits every area of life.

Stepping out of the drama.

Most relationship challenges involve the "drama triangle": villain, victim, and rescuer. Each role fuels and prolongs the drama, even in our own minds. I help leaders recognize their role in this pattern, take full responsibility for their part, and build the capacity to step out of it, breaking the cycle.

Identifying and integrating inner conflicts.

Our traumas and conditioning shape our sense of safety and influence how we interact with others. They create "parts" of us that feel less capable than we really are. Identifying, acknowledging, and addressing these parts is the key to authentically expressing our true selves.
